[g][no][email] Hello,I am looking for anything you might know about the SAND DOLLAR, like age,size,Etc... I have a lot of Sand Dollars from the states. just want to know more than what i have been able to find out.I live in Galveston Co.,Texas,USA. East Galveston Co., Is the place for shelling.

Well, I found them while I was living in Martinique (carribean).
Several species I guess, somewere really huge ! I collected some dead ones in order to make some funny stuff for the house
Live ones can be found under the sand and are especially active during the night.

I looking for more how age & size come into play. i know there i   are over 2000 +species. the doves or the teeth that clean the sand. but size & age how many year do they live? if you can give me some one that might know more imformation that would be great,Pauline From Texas
