This shell was collected in Tarpon Basin at south end of Boggy Key, Key Largo, Monroe County, Florida.  Scooped off seagrass and soft, silty bottom in two feet of water 2/19/2006 (12.1mm.)

thats a nice picture.  I must say though, i think my favorite shell is the scaphella junonia, by far.  i have 2 both found when i was in Cancun, MX.  i like that shell a lot.  again, very nice picture.  Where did you find this shell at?

the guy that tooked a scaphella from Cancun, you are very lucky, I live there and there are not too many place for shelling.

GOLLY-GOSH! in all my 13 and a half years of research, never have a come across such majesty! beauty at unreal quantities! where was the exact location of these royal relics? theyll haunt my dreams forevermore lest i find one!

my life is far from complete! let the search commence!
