I am traveling to Martha's Vineyard, USA.  I have collected sea shells since I was a child.  I can not find any information regarding  shelling on the beach at Martha's Vineyard.

Does anyone have any info. they can share with me??

Thanks so much!
Agnes

Agnes: I was there in the '70s. The usual N.E. stuff-knobbed & channelled whelks, Northern Moon Snails, surf clams, the odd shark eye. Gay Head has some beautiful cliffs, but hard to get down to the beach. Try around Chappaquiddick. I had better luck on Nantucket at Great Point, and at Nauset Beach on C.Cod. Winter would be best, of course. You probably would find some Atlantic Bay Scallops on the Bay side of Martha's Vineyard. Tom H.
