Not sure what trochid species it is, but it certainly is not in the genus Gena. Gena are open-coiled shells, resembling tiny Haliotis (without the holes). |

Hi Dave, went so check and this specimen looks to me like an Infundibulops erythaeus (Red Sea Top Shell). What do you think? Thanks, Giovanni |

Could be a juvenile I suppose but the periphery seems too pronounced. I have several specimens of this shell but none have such a sharp edge. |
