Hi, can anybody ID this shell?
Is this a Conus gubernator?

I got it in Zanzibar (Tanzania): it is about 8 cm in size.
Please need Latin and English names.

Conus striatus, the striated Cone. Did you collect it live? These are deadly cones, be careful in future collecting.

No, I never collect alive specimens. This one - like many others I now have - were brought to me by some kids on the beach...
I have been living in Zanzibar for almost 5 years.
