Green color with dark purple inside.  Here are some better Pics.

It's been suggested that the green color is from algae dyeing the shell. upon close inspection I do not feel this is the case. I haven't seen a pic of a jewel box with purple on the inside like this either. please let me know what you think.

This is Arcinella (Echinochama in older books) cornuta (Conrad). The interiors of these can be pure white, pink, or dark reddish, and the smaller ones are more likely to have bright interior color.

If the greenish color is due to algae it will disappear almost immediately in bleach. If it is the actual color of the shell, it won't.

so if i bleach it and it's still green, what does that mean?
it's some rare defect?

i kinda like the color but i will try it on one and post results. thank you for your response paul.

I dipped half of shell in clorox bleach for around 30 seconds.
shell did not change color.

I have found that sometimes the algae penetrates the shell and bleaching does not always get results. Try leaving it in the bleach for a few hours.
