Oh my gosh! It just hit me! Almost all my Costa Rican shells are from the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, so I was thinking west coast while looking at all these pictures. But Costa Rica also has a Caribbean coast, with different, though often similar species. Do you know which coast of Costa Rica these shells came from? I know that some of them came from the west coast because they are very distinctive west coast species. But is it possible there are some species from each coast?
