i have alot of these shells i may sound dumb but like i said i know nothing about seashells,this shell is smooth and almost has an ivory texture, maybe i'm not good at this!!! but could you please help with this one also. thankshttp://www.badongo.com/pic/1351106 http://www.badongo.com/pic/1351113

These appear to be Lucine Clams (family Lucinidae). I'm not certain which species. Perhaps Lucina pensylvanica. They have the right shape but look rather smooth for that species. They could be worth $.50 to $1.00 as matched pairs in prime condition. However, single unmatched valves of bivalve species generally are not of interest to collectors.
