Please can you help me identify this shell? It measures 3mm and was found inland (East Midlands, England) approx 4metres down in bed rock (10,000+ years old) containing shell fragments and amazingly this little one was found and carefully removed - IN TACT! ![]() I wonder if (Paul Monfils particularly!) may be able to identify the species please! http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j108/Nutmeg_14/15812.jpg http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j108/Nutmeg_14/15792.jpg Best regards, Mary --Last edited by nutmeg71411 on 2006-08-25 10:49:15 -- |
